One of the flying sharks on an acrylic block. Given that this series was a critique of Damien Hirst's "The Physical Impossibility of Death in the Mind of Something Living", I felt it only appropriate that I created a cruelty-free version of the final piece. Instead of a giant tank of formaldehyde, this shark is presented in 5x7 size, behind thick acrylic, so the vivacity of its spirit can be preserved forever.
